"Rolfing

When

gaining
elasticity."

Landa

Five
years
ago,
I
gave
myself
a
rolfing
session
for
my
birthday.
I
had
a
summary
knowledge
of
what
rolfing
was--but
I
wanted
to
experience
it.
I
didn't
have
a
particular
health
problem.
In
fact,
I
was,
and
continue
to
be,
in
good
health.
My
goal
was
to
keep
it
that
way.
After
the
first
session
with
Richard
Merbler,
I
was
amazed
at
how
I
felt.
I
decided
to
go
for
the
full
course
of
rolfing!
Looking
back,
I
believe
that
meeting
Richard
was
my
good
fortune
and
getting
Rolfed
was
one
of
the
most
rewarding
and
intelligent
choices
I've
ever
made.
Rolfing
didn't
just
help
me
maintain
health:
it
restored
me!
I
felt
lighter,
stronger,
more
aligned.
And
the
results
of
rolfing
have
stayed
with
me.
There's
talk
about
the
connection
between
mind,
body
and
spirit.
Although
words
can't
really
describe
my
rolfing
experience,
I
can
tell
you
that
the
changes
I
noticed
on
the
physical
level
migrated
to
the
other
levels.
With
more
and
sustained
energy,
I
felt
"spirited"
and
was
generally
more
creative
and
productive
in
all
areas
of
my
life:
my
work,
my
writing,
my taiji,
and
my
relationships.
Instead
of
sagging
from
the
accumulated
stresses
of
the
human
condition
called
"life,"
I
soared
with
a
higher
range
of
energy,
clarity,
balance
and
agility.
Richard
is a
true
healer.
I go
to
him
periodically
now
for
massages
and
"energy
charges"
to
counter
things
like
extended
work
at
the
computer
or
long
trips
to
Asia!
So
if
the
gift
of
health
sounds
good...I
recommend
that
you
go
to
see
Richard
Merbler...and
"BE
GOOD
TO
YOURSELF."

Rolfing
and
Structural
Integration
----sometimes
referred
to
as
myofascial
release,
rolfing
massage
or
massage
rolfing,
is a
process
of
manipulating
soft
tissue
which
has
trapped
and
pinched
surrounding
nerves,
muscles,
bones,
blood
vessels
and
organs.
These
restrictions
result
in
discomfort
and
pain
and
a
reduction
in
overall
flexibility.
Rolfing
unties
the
deep
knots
in
your
body
which
cause
chronic
pain-like
back
pain.
Experience
how
Rolfing
and
Structural
Integration
can
help
you
with
your
athletic,
artistic,
and
everyday
performance. |

I
have
had
health
problems
most
of

when
I

and
was
in

for
a
chain

These
therapies
really
helped
my
back
pain.
After

years
ago,
my
back
started
hurting
again
after
two
car
accidents
and
getting
hit
by a

that
closed
on
me
prematurely.
Richard
Merbler
was
an
incredible
find.
He
helped
me
regain
my
health
and
helped
tremendously
with
the
pain
I
experienced
during
my
recovery.
Richard

he a

to
meet.

Andrew
Weil M. D. - recognized authority on alternative medicine- says Rolfing can be a
great way to get more in touch with your body - and change long-standing
problems of bad posture and chronic pain ( like back pain ). Rolfing
can also release repressed emotions as well as diminish habitual muscle tension.
If you want to make some kind of change in your life and work on your body, try
Rolfing.

I

dollars
with
all
kinds

They

none

Richard
didn’t
promise
anything,
but
said
he’d

if
he
could

me.
The
first
visit
produced
such
dramatic
relief
that
my

once!
Richard

professional

I’m

My

I am

I
don’t

Tony
Sager |
|
Hi! My name
is Tony
Sager and I
am 47 years
old. I was
referred to
Richard
Merbler from
a Therapist
who was
baffled at
the
frequency
and severity
of my
shoulder
stiffness. I
had been
having
trouble with
the right
shoulder
stiffening
for over 10
years. I had
resigned
myself to
constant
pain and
permanent
disability.
I researched
Rolfing over
the Internet
and when I
visited
Richard I
was
open-minded
but
doubtful.
After 4-5
visits
Richard and
I both were
seeing
little
progress and
spoke of
surgical
options.
During the
next visit
Richard
applied an
unusual
technique
underneath
my shoulder
blade and
announced to
me that he
seemed to
find the
root of my
stiffness.
Richard
proclaimed
that the
origin of
the problem
was in the
front of my
right hip.
Richard then
proceeded to
apply many
different
techniques
to my body.
Here is the
result: Not
only is
mobility and
strength
restored but
I can use
the shoulder
normally. I
sleep
through the
night on
either side
for the
first time
in 10 years.
I no longer
see Richard
on a weekly
basis. I
actually
have not had
an
appointment
in 3 months.
The shoulder
remains
strong and
pain free. I
am so amazed
that I will
be happy to
be an
example of a
rehabilitated
patient.
Every day I
spend pain
free I give
silent
thanks to
Richard
Merbler. I
recommend
his work,
personally.

Richard
for
several
years
gave
me
confidence
in
him.
What
did
I
have
to
loose?
I
decided
to
give
Rolfing
with
Richard
a
shot.
I
will
never
forget
rushing
to
the
airport,
running
the
security
and
boarding
gauntlet
so
that
I
world
make
a
flight,
hoisting
all
my
gear
in
an
overhead
compartment,
sitting
down
in a
seat
and
feeling
8
feet
tall,
strong
and
free
after
my
5th
Rolfing
session.
Somehow
I
knew
that
something
had
happened
and
it
was
a
good
something.
Bottom
line-
IT
WORKED
!!!
5
years
latter
I
still
have
no
back
pain.
NONE
!!!
